I found this picture on Instagram. It was take by Cole Cook, one of my favorite photographers. This was taken in Flushing Meadows Park. The photo  stuck out to me because I love how simple the photo is of nature yet still contains so much detail and complexity. I also see it as a bit of an action shot with the leaf falling and Cook captures it beautifully allowing attention to be turned away from it being blurred.

I'm choosing the photographer, Albert Watson, as my photographer to research. Because we recently talked about the use of light, I was really drawn to his use of light in the 2 photos below and in all of his work. The first photo caught my eye because it carries so many contrast within it. I love the way the lighting complements the model's skin and the use of pop of color.The second piece of work by Watson stands close to me because I'm a huge fan of B.B. King and I'm also from Memphis, TN where B.B. King performed and lived. This photo really captures King's true performance essence that you get when you're watching him in person.

Book Ideas

Idea #1: My first idea is to make a 3D model of a protest for animal rights. In theory, I would have a base that can hold up sticks that are attached to poster/signs however the posters/signs will be my photos. Idea #2: My second idea is to have all my pictures chained together in a triangle shape to mimic the "Food Chain".
